This 3 layer cookie cutter I originally designed for my family's Advent season. The outer tree is the actual cutter which gives the cookies their shape. The second layer is 2 mm (~0.08 inches) higher and imprints the ornaments onto the cookie. The third layer is again 2 mm (~0.08 inches) higher and not just imprints the tinsel garlands but also gives this cookie cutter an amazing unique look.
In order to get best results roll your dough to about 5-6 mm (0.20-0.24 inches) thickness so that the imprints carve deep enough to become clearly visible on the cookies after baking.
Enjoy your cookies unglazed or further decorated with royal icing or whatever you and your children like most.
Have a Merry Christmas!

P. S. The cookie cutter on the first picture was printed on my personal 3D printer. Printed via Shapeways will result in even better print quality.
