N Scale Western Maryland J-1 Potomac

.This kit is for a Western Maryland 4-8-4 class J-1 Potomac. It is intended to be used with the Bachmann N&W class J 4-8-4 mechanism. This drive will require some slight milling to fit inside the shell, but this can be accomplished with a hand file. There are a number of after market detail parts required to complete this locomotive, most notably Commonwealth trucks for the tender. The bolsters are spaced to use Bachmann's 6 3 axle tender trucks. The tender frame mounts to the tender shell using four small screws at each corner. Detail parts such as handrails, piping and grab irons all have their mounting holes printed, and only require you to bend the part to fit. The coupler pocket on the pilot should accept a Micro Trains 905 Z scale coupler box. Please contact me if you have any further questions.
