About this Product

Mathematical Mollusca are shell-like constructions built using trigonometric algorithms. I try to weave organic and geometric aspects together to create objects that imitate nature but exhibit the complex mathematical interactions that I really enjoy.
With this sculpture, I was trying to create a more realistic sea shell model with a more asymmetric and organic look. This is a larger version of the Spiraling Organic Shell. I have not printed this model, but the smaller one came out very nicely.
