Dear Community,
Often it is the unexpected that brings you the most joy. The mechanical and twisty puzzle community using Shapeways to make amazing puzzles is our best example of this.
Puzzles such as the DinoSkewB, the Tangled Snake Puzzle, the Quirky Cube, Void Floppy,
Circle Minx, MazenCubes, Mini Gigaminx, Minimis, the Cheese Puzzle, Trompe l'oeil and the Metal Triaxial, continue to baffle & inspire us.
Whether inexpensive, Mind boggling, mathematical they all share something truly amazing.
Born out of a wondrous curiousity & inspired by mathematics as well as shapes these 3D
puzzles are a true joy for us to produce for you.
Many complex twisty puzzles are kits. The assembly as well as putting on of stickers are for you
to do at home. As an experiment we have decided to offer you a fun & challenging fully assembled mechanical puzzle for $84 (€67).
The puzzle we chose for you is Oskar van Deventer's Floppy 2 X 3 x 3
You can see a YouTube video as well as images of it here.

This offer is valid for the next three weeks until the 11th of June

 |
"Just as this newsletter went to press, we receive the sad news that Martin Gardner has passed away at the age of 95 last Saturday. For many decades, Martin Gardner has been a great inspiration to generations of mathematicians and puzzle enthusiasts worldwide with his numerous articles, books and columns in Scientific American. He will be missed dearly."
