Dear Community,

One of our core promises to you is that we want to let you make anything you want.
To that end we continually want to make Shapeways more & more affordable.

Bigger and more dense products are easier for us to produce since there is less handling & cleaning involved per unit of size. So..as an experiment and for one month starting right now.

*Every:

  • White, Strong & Flexible
  • Black, Strong and Flexible
  • For 3 dyed materials Strong and Flexible

product that has a density over 10% and is bigger than 20 cm3 will benefit from a significant discount.

You can read more on how this works on the blog.
What does this mean for you? For instance:

morel mushroom tall Menger Sponge
Candela's Morel Mushroom Tall used to be $203.00 and is now $139.83. If you would like to own Bathsheba's
Menger Sponge you can now get it for $113.86 instead of $183.

+ Glass Enamel

glass enamel Introducing High Gloss Black Glass and High Gloss White Glass. These materials are 3D printed recycled glass that is then enameled. Glass is now stronger, smoother and more beautiful.

The black is a deep hard shiny glossy black. It's the back of your Iphone black. You can see some texture from the 3D printing process.

The white is a shiny off white that glistens and glimmers in sunlight. We think that art and design products such as Gijs's Egg Cup and will look beautiful in this material.
