It’s now easy to promote your designs on your own website with our new widget. You can use it to show your shop’s contents or your favorites (a wishlist!) in several sizes and colors - and more features are planned. To use it, just include a few lines of HTML code on your webpage and it’ll automatically display a neat browseable list. Our widget tutorial explains how to create your own in just a few minutes. Currently the widget supports promoting your shop (including sections) or your wishlist (or favorites). You can specify a light or dark style and how many rows and columns you would like.

We always bring work from our community to design fairs, trade shows and media events all over the world. Even better: you can join us and present your own work! At the recent Dutch Design week we were joined by Stijn van der Linden and Michiel Cornelissen, and we showed work by Nervous System. Check out Stijns report of the event - try not to have a happy grin on your face when you read it. He also shares some great tips to make your visits to events shows more effective. We have some really exciting events planned for 2011 that we will share with you soon, but until then: where do you think we should go too?

The silver trial is over for now. It was very successful and we’ve lots of beautiful designs and we’d love to continue. Unfortunately, we cannot. We first need to do some thinking and see when and how we can reintroduce it as a permanent material. Stay tuned!
