Dear Shapies,
before the year ends we have a few items we would like to share with you.
First and foremost we are announcing our metal 3D printing contest. Yep really, metal! We already showed you a sneak peak some time ago of metal printing. We have now found a way to offer the winner of our contest his/her model printed in Titanium! Design your own jewelry, gadget or whatever you like really, and if you win we will print it free of charge for you in Titanium.

We will also be launching the Shapeways Shops on January 8th. With the Shops you can make money by selling models of your Shapeways designs. You design, we do the production, shipping, billing and customer service. If you would like to be a beta tester you can sign up here using the private beta code "allmymodelsaresupermodels". If you would like to discuss the Shapeways Shops we have a special forum topic for that here.
We would like to thank you guys so much for all the models you've uploaded, all the help you've given each other and all the other effort you've put into Shapeways so far. That really makes our day, every day. Next year will be amazing!
