English version below!

Low-priced spare part for Audi A4 B6/B7 Type 8E 8H center armrests with a broken lock.

Black Strong & Flexible ideal color for dark / black interior detail only makes

Use this if the original spring NOT exists or not will be used! See picture of the original part. Otherwise use different version, because this version has not space to fix the original spring. Because of the flex function of the ring, this part is only available with “flexible” Materials.

To replace lid of the armrest disassemble armrest by squeezing the two holders of the armrest and remove. Separate the cover from the fabric, by using a putty knife cloth, the lower part is at the side clipped 6 times (see pictures). Just open the first two clips to replace the lock. To assemble take the ring in the middle of the spare part and mount it in to the hock at the cover, then the two pins can be left and right snap into the bushes, then clip the lid back together, Clips’ near the bushings are each a splice, here glue if necessary with super glue for more liability.

On request we can do with customized logo or design. In the pictures are the original part with taped ribs and the part in Black Strong & Flexible and Coral Red Strong & Flexible.

This part is also available with Audi rings, A4 or Quattro endorsement!

@worldleader - I did wind up buying the black one (other one was white) - looks pretty nice in my car but I had seen that the other handles were available in grey nylon which was a closer match. Any chance that the latch with spring will be available in that grey nylon color? Thanks!

@jdchen : hi, if I am right there are 2 interior colors: grey and black, you can order the part black, or color it by yourself with textil color or just with a black marker. grey is difficult to color but may be would work. I was astound how good black looks in the grey interior. best regards.

Ordered this part to replace the broken latch on my 2006 Audi A4. Since I had lost the little metal spring that was on the original latch, I ordered the piece that had the replacement spring. Part fits perfectly and now I have a working latch again on my center console! Material that the new latch is made from feels durable and of high quality. One thing that would have been nice is to be able to get the piece in the color of my cars interior (dark grey) Has anybody tried painting these pieces to match the interior color of the car?
