About this Product

This a diagrammatic representation of a deoxyribonucleic acid molecule made into the form of a ring.  More specifically, it is a representation of normal B-DNA, as first described by Watson and Crick and having a right-handed helix.  There is a heart version here and I also have a 10 lobe male and female matching engagement set.

This listing is for a US ring size 6, which is 0.65 inches or 16.5 mm inside diameter, so if you want a US size 6 then order this one by clicking the buy now button above.  This also comes in a US size 3.5, US size 5, US size 5.5, US size 6.5, US size 7, US size 7.5, US size 7.75, US size 8 and US size 9.  Other sizes are created upon request, just click the contact designer button on the right hand side of the page.

If you like this design show your appreciation by adding it to your favorites by clicking the Favorite link just under the buy now button.  Thanks!  I love it when people favor my art!

Rough design by Cheri Cloninger, detailed design and 3D modeling by James William Kincaid III.

@fandeltps Sure, I'll turn those on and the others off. Give 15 minutes or so.

@arjun_mehta Sorry, I didn't see your question until just now. Yes, look around online and you'll find a place that I am selling the file at. I shouldn't mention where on Shapeways' site because they are one of Shapeways' competitors. If you cannot find it send me your email address.

@fandeltps Ok, no problem. Size 6 is on this page so simply look up at the upper right at the materials selection and you will now see that you can buy it in plastic. For size 6.5. go here, http://shpws.me/wmdQ and for size 7 go here. http://shpws.me/q15r Thanks. :)

Oh ok, the old plastic ring trick! HAHA! :D Yeah, I turned on the plastic material for you so you should be able to order it in Frosted Ultra Detail plastic. Go here to order it in a size 6.5. http://shpws.me/wmdQ Another option is to get one of these. http://www.widgetsupply.com/product/XWS2-8902RG.html With shipping it would be around $5 cheaper than buying the plastic version of my DNA ring. I don't know how you'd go about tricking her though with a ring sizer set! HAHA! :D

@UniverseBecoming Ok Thank you. Can I have a testing ring in pastic? I need to test with my girlfriend before buy the final one. I think she have a 6.5 size but need to do a "trick" to try and buy the correct ring. :)

@fandeltps Hi. Thanks for your interest in my art! :) The DNA ring in this listing is definitely a very delicate feminine looking ring. I originally made this for a female. Then I had a female ask if I would make a more robust version for her and so I made this one here. http://shpws.me/vM53 It's a little thicker and has 10 lobes instead of 12 lobes like my original design. And, because of the nature of the geometry, I decided to make a masculine looking version that is found here. http://shpws.me/vM5f This masculine version is very thick and lot wider and looks very masculine.
