4x4x6 CrazyPill

4x4x6 CrazyPill 3d printed Puzzles Toys
Thank you for checking out my CrazyPill Version 2. First I would like to give credit to Tom Z for designing the open source 4x4x6, and to Calvin Fan for allowing me to use the patented design as a shape mod.

This puzzle turns very smoothly. If you were to buy a CrazyPill from my ShapeWays shop, you will only receive the pieces. You will have to buy your own hardware which is 6 M3X16 screws, or for the Americans that is 4-40 screws, plus washers and springs however washers are not extremely important if you can't find any. Washers and springs can be used from existing mass produced 4x4x6 puzzles, as well as many other mass produced puzzles, however for screws, some M3 or 4-40 screws have a big head on them and will not fit. Some screws have a built in washer on the head and those are too big. Stickers can be ordered through Olivérs Shop HERE

Additionally, if you wanted a fully dyed, assembled and stickered copy I can do that for an additional cost. You can contact me at crazybadcuber@gmail.com for inquires to assembled puzzles.

Another option you can have, is to have each 8th of the puzzle dyed a different colour and give the puzzle the stickerless theme, however in my experience it's difficult to get all the pieces of one colour to be the same shade, as thicker parts of the pieces take to the dye differently to thinner parts of the puzzle. If you had done that and you didn't like the result, you can always just dye them ALL black again and have a black puzzle.

@crazybadcuber I found out that the other pieces in the bag were from the master curvy copter by pirsquared on shapeways I was really shocked because I thought the shapeways version of the 4x4x6 had a different core and I was also really surprised to find it was the master curvy copter because I did not order it and when my dad checked the shapeways receipt it only said that it was 105 USD (there was a holiday sale so I can get 25 USD off an order that's over 125$) even though the master curvy copter and the crazy pills prices together would be over 300 USD and he only paid for the crazy pill I got lucky! Two puzzles with the price of one. (I dident even put the master curvy copter in the cart....)

@youryeekbubby AHA! So you got it together. I knew you could! Looks great! Did you figure out what else was in the package? What the other pieces were for?

@youryeekbubby Those are not parts for the crazy pill. I just saw your other post with the picture. In that other picture I see parts for a crazy pill though, so it looks like you got it. Did you order two puzzles? Please email me at crazybadcuber@gmail.com it is much easier than here.
December 25, 2013, 7:47 pm
@crazybadcuber why do I have parts that look like this? They don't have a ball core in the mass produced version.
December 25, 2013, 7:05 pm
@youryeekbubby I'm sorry, I don't have a crazy pill right now to make a tutorial for. It's the same thing as a regular 4x4x6, just a different outside shape. You can see if there is a tutorial on YouTube for this. It's not hard to assemble though.
December 25, 2013, 5:15 pm
@crazybadcuber I got this puzzle for Christmas and have no idea on how to assemble it can you make a tutorial
December 25, 2013, 9:00 am

December 21, 2013, 8:07 pm
@carenr85 it's harder because of the sticker scheme
December 21, 2013, 7:09 pm

December 21, 2013, 6:58 pm

December 17, 2013, 5:48 am
@williesul personal message. I don't like talking about prices in public. Business deals are a personal thing
December 16, 2013, 10:59 pm
@crazybadcuber what is a PM??
December 16, 2013, 10:04 pm
@williesul Please send me a PM with your question about pricing.
December 16, 2013, 3:46 pm
how much is the puzzle if you assemble, dye and sticker it for "extra service"?
December 16, 2013, 10:52 am
@youryeekbubby No sorry. Either get one or don't man.
December 10, 2013, 5:24 pm
@crazybadcuber can you show me a picture of what the outcome looks like if you use felt pens?
December 10, 2013, 3:08 pm
@youryeekbubby Sorry, this is the only way the puzzle comes. You can buy this in white and either dye the pieces the colours you need them, or you can use felt pens and colour them yourself. Felt pens actually work very well on these puzzles.
December 10, 2013, 6:24 am
@crazybadcuber can you sell this puzzle in eighths so we can get it stickerless on shapeways?
December 10, 2013, 6:19 am
@youryeekbubby Is this related to a shapeways product you bought from me? That is what this comment section is for, not just random questions.
December 4, 2013, 6:09 am
@crazybadcuber I tryed that and they melted my v cube 4 and only dyed the core haha
December 4, 2013, 6:05 am
@youryeekbubby I put rit dye in a pot with some water, turn it on to almost a boil but not a boil and put the pieces in until they are black.

December 4, 2013, 5:55 am
@ahlaaron If you'd like one assembled, please email me at crazybadcuber@gmail.com and ask your questions there, it is much easier than here. Thanks =)
November 30, 2013, 2:54 am
hm... im thinking of getting one but do u need to already have the pieces and then email you to assemble it for me or can i just email you and give you the money and you send the assembles version to me
November 29, 2013, 11:43 pm
@youryeekbubby ok, but I still haven't received a sales notification from shapeways which I always get if there's a sale, and your dad hasn't contacted me to get one made for you, so it's impossible that one has been boughten. I would know if somebody bought my puzzle. I have not made a sale. You or your dad did not buy one.

dads account
November 29, 2013, 5:05 am
@youryeekbubby well you didn't place an order with me, and I didn't receive a notification that I've sold one, so I don't see how you just bought one.
November 29, 2013, 4:05 am
I just bought one I will be receiving this puzzle on Christmas!
November 29, 2013, 3:12 am
@youryeekbubby I'm sorry I only off it in black or white, or another solid colour. Not sticker less. It just doesn't turn out very well in the sticker less form, it's it's very expensive to dye, as I have to buy all the different colours.
November 5, 2013, 11:18 pm
@crazybadcuber do you offer the crazy pill sticker less and fully assembled?
November 5, 2013, 11:15 pm
@youryeekbubby Not that I know of sorry.
October 9, 2013, 5:27 am
Is there any chance of this being mass produced?
October 9, 2013, 5:22 am
