JIMINIE HA / Jiminie Ha is a creative director, curator and artist based in New York City. She is the recipient of the Rome Prize (2012), granted by the American Academy in Rome for her body of work, and currently resides in New York City. She holds a BA from Brown and an MFA from Yale School of Art, where she was an Alice Kimball Award recipient. She has overseen the redesign of various art and culture publications which include Bidoun Magazine, Art Asia Pacific, Capricious Magazine. In 2008 Jiminie established W/--- Projects, Inc. (“With Projects”), an umbrella entity that includes a multidisciplinary design studio, W/--- Project Space, a time-share artist space in New York’s Chinatown focused on collaborative and curatorial projects, a biannual arts and culture magazine called White Zinfandel and, most recently added, W/--- Editions, an ongoing print and object series. Studio clients and collaborators include the Whitney Museum of American Art, Aperture, Daniel Gordon, Ruby Sky Stiler, Keegan McHargue, the Schools of Architecture at Princeton and Yale, Rizzoli Publishing, Maison Martin Margiela, Baccarat, Leong Leong Architecture, The Architecture League, ARP, Siki Im, 2x4, Li Inc, Nike, Storefront for Art and Architecture, the Tate Modern, and The American Academy in Rome.

She has given lectures at the New York Chapter of the AIGA and PS1 New York Art Book Fair, and her work has been published in The New York Times, La Repubblica, New York Magazine, Interview Magazine, Whitewall Magazine, Idea Magazine, Surface, I.D., IdN, Harper’s Bazaar Korea, Elle Girl, New York Magazine, Artinfo, The Daily Beast. Her work has been selected and exhibited at MoMA’s Millennium Magazines (2012), The Armory (2012), Art Basel (June 2012) in Switzerland and Miami, MACRO Museum, and Brno Design Biennale (June 2012), NADA Miami (2012).

She has worked as a visiting critic at Yale, Rutgers, and Queens College, and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut and The New School Parsons School of Design.

Upcoming shows and events include The HomeFront at The Museum of Art & Design, Storefront for Art and Architecture, The Palais de Tokyo and Venice Biennale 2013.
