1/144 Halberstadt C.V in WSF. (See also the version in FUD.) -- The best 1918 German C-Class machines were the Rumpler C.VII and the Halberstadt C.V. Both used the excellent 200hp Benz Bz.IVü engine. The Halberstadt saw first action in June 1918 and about 200 were in use by August, with more coming to the front daily. Total orders for the type probably totaled around 1,500. Flight characteristics, strength, and climb rate were excellent, and the only concern was a tendency to flip over on landing due to the short fuselage.

Just received. It's a beauty! And with the price, it's a steal! Better buy several before someone notices.

@oreob69 Some folks want pins; some do not; some use other mounting methods. I figure I'll just leave the model as-is and let people drill whatever holes they need. I'm waiting to see if Shapeways will print a FUD version....though it will cost a bit more, the detail should really pop.

Beautiful model that was well worth the Wait! Can we get your aircraft with the pins for the Wings of Glory/War Stands?

Hopefully within a few days, since Shapeways sent me a shipping notice. As soon as I check out the test print (and it looks okay), I'll mark it for sale.

When do you think the Halberstadt C.V be available? Thanks Andy
