1/144 Halberstadt C.V in WSF. (See also the version in FUD.) -- The best 1918 German C-Class machines were the Rumpler C.VII and the Halberstadt C.V. Both used the excellent 200hp Benz Bz.IVü engine. The Halberstadt saw first action in June 1918 and about 200 were in use by August, with more coming to the front daily. Total orders for the type probably totaled around 1,500. Flight characteristics, strength, and climb rate were excellent, and the only concern was a tendency to flip over on landing due to the short fuselage.
