3D printed part beofre installation

This functionally tested Polyamid (PA 2200, Nylon) Part is used as a ventilation grid cap for the air ventilation system of a Ford Focus limousine. This part is fully functional and can be printed in different colors. As a 3D printing material we recommend Shapeways "Strong and Flexible". With this material and the resulting tolerances, the spare part will best guarantee interchangability. CAUTION! This part is for the RIGHT SIDE. Please find the part for the left side also in our shop.

@bartv Hi bartv, this is correct! The car is imported from the US and spare parts are difficult to find within Europe. I also took the first time chance to test Shapeways service. Unfortunately I realized that it is only economical for small parts like this one. Therefore I decided to get my own 3D printer.

Interesting. Just curious - why did you decide to 3D print this part? Was it impossible to get a replacement from a dealer?
