Version 2.0

This is a set of 6 spider legs for the Beast Hunters cyberverse Airachnid figure! The legs extend out from a central mount that attaches to the 3mm port on her back, and each leg has 4 joints for maximum posability!

Additionally, each leg ends off with a claw that can hold compatible 3mm peg weapons. This set of legs is sturdy enough to support the weight of the cyberverse figure.

This model is successfully tested in Black Strong Flexible and that material is recommended.

@wliangc super glue. use it to fix the broken part and tighten the joints.

Hi I also agree that the joins are too loose for any real posing. unlike regular transformers plastics, nail polish doesn't really work here--the powder seems to "soak up" all liquids. Also, one of the joints on my broke during assembly, and I am still looking for the right glue to put it back together. Suggestions, anybody?

I ordered mine in WSF Polished and am using various permanent ink markers to color it, and maybe a touch of paint for details. So far I've got the black for the legs, purple for the clamp-like spider-feet, and silver on the long/thin fins. (I may change the silver fins to purple or black, There's 2 long fins on the outer-most leg -segment and 1 fin on the middle segment. I'll review a few TFP eps for her spider-form to see if they bothered with such color details). Pic's should be in and/or up in a day or two.

Hi @axaday thanks for the feedback! Yes, a coat of nail polish or super glue will help on the joints. The polishing process (like the one used on violet strong flexible) tends to wear the joints down thus resulting in looseness. BSF doesn't go through polishing that's why I had more success with it.

I got a set in violet. They look nice, but the joints are not tight enough to pose. I can get some purple nail polish (or I might have my girlfriend get some!), but I just wondered if other plastics came out better.

Are you still up-sizing this for use on the deluxe version? Oh, and RID version? (sent a PM ... has other question about RID/Hasbro/TomyTakara)

would it be possible to redesign the center hub with ball and socket joints so all the legs would be more articulated

Would love to see one for the deluxe version. You think that would be possible with the rotor being permanent on that figure?

These legs are not meant for alt mode, @formlessdraon27 . You'll have to use the original rotor...
