Thank you. They are mine. All the book says is that they have something like a bubble cockpit and twin chin mounted lasers. This sounded like a TIE but they were also described by their actions as being more atmospherically capable than a TIE should be. I assumed with antigrav etc they wouldnt have to be 'too' sleek but wanted to acknowledge the aerodynamics and what sounded like a prototype TIE so i tried to give them a bit of a flying wing shape using the TIE type panels but with the detailing and lasers etc being bulkier as a nod to the just post clone wars time period (the design came to me pre Phantom menace so it was before we discovered that 20 year old tech actually looked more advanced that ep4-5-6 period *L*)

@Gosric I really like these. Did you come up them yourself or are is the design of the IRD fighters shown somewhere. I looked in the book and the description is vague.

@usetheforce Good question. I dont think the writer of the novel knew. Though it has been retconned to mean 'intercept, recon, defence' I prefer to think of it as Ion Reaction drive fighter since it was supposedly a precursor to the TIE

@darthbart Glad you like it i was pretty pleased with the design. Had to have something for the Z-95 to go up against.

Got it in Strong & Flexible. Print is very good. Details are quite crisp and mine print didn't need any touch ups. Ooo and it's in scale with our favourite board game ;)
