@kangermu I used my favorite 3D software, Cinema 4D, with a free plugin called "hot4d", a tool with about twenty parameters to deform a surface so that it looks like the sea or like a stone. Then I made numerous attempts to get both an interesting surface and easily connectable to the rest of the case.

How did you create the wavy surface? I'm trying to make something that looks like stone and this seems like it could work for that also.

@TiEnigma It is a good idea too, but it requires to remake everything from scratch this is very time consuming, not sure I have the time @factory_boy I agree with you but at the moment multicolor printing is available only for sandstone, material that can not be used to print cases. However it's easy and fast to paint it by yourself.

The boat really should be another color so it stands out. I would buy if that were the case.

@cinemo How about making 3-4 larger waves near the edges so it rests level with the boat yet looks inconspicuous?

@jbobrow Thanks, it's a good idea, I'll give it a try.

This is beautiful! love the concept. Any chance of removing the border? (I understand that you want the boat protected and the phone to lay flat, but I think it would feel great in the hand without that lip.)
