Product Description
The original Bamboozle is a three-dimensional object consisting of 51 equilateral triangles in polished acrylic, pairwise intersecting at an angle of about 70.5 degrees. It is located at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of Eindhoven University of Technology in the MetaForum building, near the reception.

The object involves a mathematical space-spanning structure known as triamond. It is metachiral, having symmetry group I4332, containing rotations of order 2 and order 3, and also left-handed screw displacements of order 4, and right-handed screw displacements of order 3.

Bamboozle was "discovered" by linking multiple copies of the Trefoil Knot from Triangular Beam. Also available is a cycle of ten linked such knots.

Designed by Koos Verhoeff and Tom Verhoeff.
