About this Product

This is the new version of the 3-axis gimbal for the GoPro camera. It is available now, but still in beta testing. More documentation will follow soon.

To complete it, you will need 3 servos "Turnigy 180D", available at Hobbyking, and three ball bearings with 10mm outer diameter, 6mm inner diameter (also from Hobbyking or from various RC shops, AliExpress.com, eBay, etc.)

As the parts fit quite precisely, you may have to clean excess powder by scraping edges carefully with a fine screwdriver (e.g. the clasp that closes the cage), and carefully push parts together by working them in and out in multiple steps. This is only necessary at the beginning, they will soon fit much more smoothly as they wear in. The servo crowns are best assembled by slightly pushing them into the holes and pulling them in slowly with the center screw.

Seems those servos are sold out - do you have a secondary source. I have looked through a bunch on hobby king, but the dimensions of the one you have chosen seems to be somewhat rare. Thanks!

@dougclind thanks for pointing that out. The ball bearings are the steel rings that can be seen in the last picture above - the outer diameter is 10mm, the "bore diameter" (the hole in the middle) is 6mm, and the ones I use are 3mm thick (but that dimension is not so critical). These bearings have little balls running between the steel rings. Here are some from Hobbyking: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__10202__HK_500GT_Ball_Bearing_10_x_6_x_3mm_4pcs_set_.html

I'm not at all familiar with ball bearings. I don't have any idea what you mean with these inner and outer dimensions. Until I looked at Aliexpress I thought ball bearings were just little round balls, not rings. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Aliexpress has stuff like "deep grooved", "vee groved", "flanged", etc. and I don't know what all these things are. You really need to be specific for those of us who aren't gear heads. Give us a link to exactly what we need.
