One 1/144 scale Junkers J.I WWI ground-attack aeroplane with crew: an observer with a Parabellum machine gun and a pilot. Compared to the White+Strong+Flexible version, this model has better strut, tail, and engine proportions and will show more detail, including the corrugated wing coverings. But of course, Frosted Ultra Detail is much more expensive. -- 227 Junkers J.I aeroplanes were completed in 1917-1918. The armored "bathtub" protecting the crew, engine, and fuel, the duraluminum skin, and the internal wing bracing made it a superbly robust low-level aircraft. In fact, none are thought to have ever been shot down in action.
