This fully posable shore crab (Pachygrapsus crassipes) is inspired by the handmade articulated Japanese sculptures of insects and crustaceans, 'jizai okimono' which were popular in the Meiji era.
The default material is white nylon sintered plastic, which is relatively tough and can be painted with acrylic paints.
