The Wired Life Head Collection is an ongoing experiment to create designs which push the boundaries and get the most out of 3D printing. The trophy heads offer an attractive design and by using minimum material reduce weight and printing cost.

The collection looks fantastic when presented together or individually. The size variations allow the heads to fit into any space, the light weight means they can be hung with a small pin nail.

New heads are going to be added so check back regularly. Message us if you have any questions, share your photographs and comments below.

Wired Life Collection

I'm experimenting with telling a story using minimal material to save on printing cost while inspiring the imagination. The Zebra head works well, I've concentrated on only printing the black parts leaving the white empty. It is available in BSF  and WSF.  Both materials tell a different story.

Please send your pictures and share your thoughts on the design.

@khayesaz Hi, at 15inches it would be very expensive possibly over $200 and then I would need to recreate the model for that size. Is this something that would interest you? Regards Vijay

Fantastic use of the natural lines of the zebra. Love it.

@Dotsan ah understood. well they are quite beautiful, and perhaps even more natural, in black and white :)

@carine unfortunately because of the new tumbling process for colors the design will be too fragile, I'm trying to keep printing cost to a minimum but people can spray paint them.

@Dotsan ha! can't wait. too bad we don't have orange nylon, but will still look amazing in coral red.

Saw this on Facebook. Neat! I know it gives dimensions, but I always wish there was something in the photos to give it a sense of scale.
