iPad Mini

This is a 1:1 scale iPad mini, designed from the Apple Case Guidelines PDF documents. If you're designing cases, use this as a stand-in if you don't have an actual iPad mini around.

The model is hollow to save on some volume (the speaker area and dock connector areas are cut all the way through the shell), with some support columns in the middle to keep it from flexing too badly.

The outer dimensions are accurate to the actual device, and the volume and power buttons stick out the correct distance. The speaker area is a simplified hole (for hollowing the object) rather than an array of holes, but the edges of the simplified rectangular hole line up exactly with the outermost edges of the speaker holes. The screen bezel is indicated by a recession in the top of the model (the actual device's top is a perfectly flat glass sheet), and the camera location as well (rather than flush with the device).
