About this Product

Here are some very famous sci fi shuttle eagle transports from 1970s television. These are the 5 variations in 1/1000 scale, perfect for table top gaming, fleet style gaming. Stock eagle pod, rescue pod, lab pod, wench pod and now added, the flatbed pod eagle variant. These were designed for WSF material, but I realize some prefer max detail with FUD, so I am keeping that material open for these. But do try to remember FUD is extremely weak and breaks easy. Remember ShapeWays tends to rotate designs in their printing containers, this sometimes changes the details in the appearance of the designs.

Down in the comments area, we have a picture shared with us, from modeler Scouls502, Just click the little pic, and it will load the full size picture. Plus one he did for us to post in as the default picture. Scouls502 truely did these designs justice. The level of detail he was able to shown in the designs, well we didn't honestly think it would show that well. Scouls502 good on you Sir. Have some cookies.

Due to the new pricing scale, I had to go in, move them around, and put spurs on. Because the new pricing scale now includes per separate piece in the file. Too reduce the price back down, I had to do some changes. The 5th eagle and the spurs did raise the price, but it gives you all 5 eagles for a fair price without breaking the bank.

wouldn't polyamide be OK?

I took and added a pic showing that this is one of the very successful models to be printed in 3D by ShapeWays, I actually lost count, but believe it is over 60 sets of this have been printed in the selected materials above and shipped too places known only to ShapeWays.

Received my Transporter Set in WSF today, and have just one word for them--- WOW! FANTASTIC! (Okay, two words...)

@Callamon Sadly my friend, no one here @ The Verse has the first clue about 3D modeling. We have gone to others, THAT DO, with our designs, and they have made them reality. But some of it has cost us alot to have done. I wish we did know how. Because then we could really go wild.

@Mechanoid Maybe you could consider to offer just simple hangar-wall-pieces? That way one could buy as much as he want to build a hangar as large as needed. The triangular structure of the wall should be a matter of minutes for somebody who has experience in 3D modelling - and it looks like you have a lot of it!

@Callamon We @ The Verse are absolutely pleased, that you love these. As to your suggestions. Have a peek at our shop. And we do intend to add other items as we can. The hanger idea, and the landing pad, those you might almost be better at scratch building those yourself. But we'll look into it after we complete our list of projects as is. Remember, be sure to rate us, thats how we know what people think.

Just got my 4 ordered sets in WSF. AMAZING!!! I really love them. Please, PLEASE make more Space(r)1999 stuff! How about an in-scale sublunar hangar, for instance? Or a landing pad with a bit of moon surface surrounding it? Those would be SO cool to display these little gems. And with the low price (especially in WSF) one can have dozens of little dioramas and a whole Eag... err, transport fleet. Oh, by the way: How about an transport with spine booster pack? Or an UltraProbe? A crashed transport ("Carter style landing")? Some of the alien ships? The lunar base itself? Soooo many possibilities!

@Mechanoid Thanks for the kind words!

@Mechanoid Many thanks for the excellent models. The picture is of the FUD Transports. They were under-coated in Citadel Chaos Black and given a dry brush of Vallejo Foundation White with details picked out in Citadel Bolt Gun Metal and Chaos Black. I was going to keep going but decided to stop where I was. Might get another set and take them further, time to dig out the magnifying visor! For me, these in FUD is definitely the way to go. Thanks again.

@mboylevt, When someone can detail like that, got to give them the credit they deserve. And working with ShapeWays has been the greatest experience we have ever had. So we here at The Verse would also like to give ShapeWays the credit you all deserve. You help make the imagination come to life. Thank You.

@Scouls502, You did these designs true justice. They really do POP!

@pondman1955 WOW, Thank You. 4 sets and only one mishap. Must be been a problem when they were printing it. As I did 4 sets for myself, and nothing was missing. We here at The Verse, are truely pleased that you got something that made you smile. Thank You for the feedback.

I've gotten 4 sets of these in WSF and they only required minimum 'cleanup' (as in brushing out 'extra' powder from some openings in miniatures. One of the ships was missing a landing leg, (it wasn't in the bag/hadn't broken off in shipping), but I can duplicate that one part myself. All in all a GREAT value for the size and detail, ESPECIALLY in WSF!!!!! Thank you!

@Mechanoid That would be great, I'll let you know when I get them finished.

@Scouls502 We are pleased that they printed out well for you. Once you get them detailed, we would be happy to post a pic of them on here from you.

I ordered these in WSF and FUD. They worked in both and are excellent.
