Product Description
In the 1960's the West German Bundeswehr needed a light car (Kurierwagen) with good cross-country performance. This resulted in the Volkswagen 181, whose concept owed much to the Kübelwagen of WWII fame. It also saw widespread civilian use, by farmer and hunters or as leisure vehicle.
The model consists of 4 cars on a sprue..
The model is simply a scaled-up version of my 6 mm scale model. No extra detail has been added.
The original version of the model failed to print. I have repaired the design on 25.Aug.2013
