3.5 w x 3.4 d x 1.4 h in cm |

Laser scan of sculpture by Francesco Laurana. A common model used for testing. I got it from the meshlabs site, brought it into Maya, cropped and extruded faces. Then to Cheetah 3D to export as .dae (COLLADA) file.

Even though I printed this before, it got rejected when someone bought it. I rebuilt it a bit thicker (0.8mm). Unfortunately it raises the cost, so I lowered the markup to compensate.
I did that with a head and it worked really really well. Most hobby shops have a myriad of options to choice from. I used this powdered plaster that when mixed with water turns hard as a rock. It has almost the same color as the White Strong and Flexible too!
I wanted to see how thin I could get away with. The idea is to fill the hollow part with a cheaper material for solidity, then finish the surface for a faux stone look.
Wow. It looks like the gioconda. In 3D. (I'm pretty sure the gioconda could look like that in 3D...)

As an amateur of nice women face I am under a spell :p

9$64?!! it must be paper thin ! ! ! Or is it for a mold?
