Mentok Nor was seeded in Vulcan space shortly after the Dominion Occupied the world. Following the Dominion's defeat, the station was towed into a nearby nebula, where the 2,000 inhabitants remained for over 2 years, unable to leave. Eventually Cardassian Tow-Ships arrived and returned the station to Cardassia where it was dismantled for use in the rebuilding of Cardassia.
