Tenor(+8) folk shawm

This is a shawm, the loud medieval ancestor of the oboe. This shawm is about the same size as a tenor recorder.

You will need to make a drinking straw reed, from a straw of 4 - 5mm diameter. This is quite easy, here are instructions.

Use blue teflon plumber's tape to make a tight seal between the two segments.
