These are add-on pieces to convert a mini 4x4x4 (46mm) cube into a megamorphix. The 4x4x4 required can be bought here, but it must be truncated and carefully tensioned as described on the TwistyPuzzles forums here These pieces can then be glued on to shape change the cube into a tetrahedron. The stickers can either be hand cut using the template provided or bought from Oliver's Stickers here

@Demon4511 You can buy a mass produced version at Mefferts ( for $18. A Shapeways version would be much more expensive!

@lcuthbert How much would you say the extensions would be for the 6x6 version and how much would it cost if this model would be designed to fit ss 4x4 Btw sorry for my horrid spelling
July 25, 2013, 7:20 pm
@Nazariy The extensions could be scaled to fit the SS but as it is bigger then the cost of the model would increase substantially. I have already designed a couple of versions to fit a 6x6x6 but the final puzzle would be quite large even if a use a pillowed design, and I don't think I could afford to prototype it at this time.

gus i was just wondering if you can make the extentions fit sheng shou 4x4 and if u gonna make the 6x6 version of those extentions any time soon thanks nazariy

@Nazariy Thanks for the comments. The main problem with this mod is that the turning quality of the donor 4x4x4 cube is not the best, so you have to tension and lubricate it carefully otherwise the finished Megamorphix can easily lock-up and be hard to turn. Good luck! Gus
