Chen Gackstatter (Wiki) minimal surface cropped by perpendicular cylinders. When I first saw this simple form it reminded me of a Yin-Yang wrapped around a sphere; hence, the name Tao. This graceful shape is accented with a diagonally placed mesh of perforations. This baseball-sized desktop sculpture is available in a variety of nylon and acrylic plastics.
