When Poseidon was defeated in his last battle, the pendant fall from his neck and disappeared to the abbyss. The shield of poseidon was forgotten in the depths of the ocean for millenia, until it was found in 1942 by artifact hunters. The hunters made drawings of the object and stored them in a container. However a terrible storm took place that night and their ship was sunk and pendant got lost again. The container containing the drawings of the pendant was found at a coastal village and taken to the museum of constantinople. It is told that whoever wears the Shield of Poseidon can breath under the sea.
