@jackschmidt in order to get a licence you would need to obtain it from the person who took the initial photograph as they are the copyright holder, but it would also depend on how they uploaded it on the internet, if they done it in such a way that they waived all rights then anyone is able to use it. so like a lot of things it's very much a grey area.
December 4, 2013, 3:05 pm what is the height of success kid?

@yotta You don't get the joke. Success Kid is a popular internet Meme that started on 4chan, lifted from a picture on the internet.

The figure is perfect. The name of object s not good. The "angry child" is much better title. A happy child smiles with us. Does not squeeze his fingers into a fist. Otherwise, it's a great model.

The detail on my Success Kid is amazing! This is my first 3D printed object purchase and it will not be my last. Congrats to the designer and to Shapeways for a job well done! Bob L. Seabrook, NH

Great accomplishment in sculpting - loved your video! Tech question: what is your format of choice to upload 3D and texture?

I just got mine delivered today. I really like it, but I didn't realize it was going to be hollow, like a hollow chocolate bunny. It makes it so much lighter and hard to add a rubber base on it, for example. I'm also worried it's more easily crushed. Is there something I could fill this with that would make it solid, without the stuff inside expanding and breaking the sculpture?

He would be great as a full body sculpture also. I'm sure that would be as popular, if not more.
