THIS VERSION HAS NOT YET BEEN PRINTED. The new version minimizes the corners further for what I feel is a better looking puzzle. Photos are the first version, and I am including a CAD image of the new version.
I believe the radiolarian was the first face turning icosahedron.
This is the first in my series of face-turning icosahedra, the Radiolarians. Or Radiolaria? The series is named after a small ameboid protozoa that can produce a skeleton in this shape.
You will receive a DIY kit of raw 3d printed parts. You will need to provide your own 4-40 size screws, washers and springs to assemble your puzzle. I prefer this puzzle without springs. Stickers can be obtained by emailing stickers@puzzleforge.com for 8 dollars plus shipping.
