This is the third in my series of face-turning icosahedra, the Radiolarians. The series is named after a small ameboid protozoa that can produce a skeleton in this shape.
The first straight cut face turning icosahedron in the world was my "Radiolarian 2", which has slightly shallower cuts. This puzzle, the "Radiolarian 3", was the follow up with deeper cuts which add a part in the center of each face.
You will receive a DIY kit of raw 3d printed parts. You will need to provide your own 4-40 size screws, washers and springs to assemble your puzzle. I prefer this puzzle without springs. Stickers can be obtained by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org for 8 dollars plus shipping.
