@ModiBotFan13 Sorry for the lag on the answer. That armor is from a Xevoz kit. I was called Shield Breaker I believe. Xevoz pegs fit this version, as well as the hand grips.

@Kidmechano I like that translucent green armor. What is that?

I'd really like to, but black prints larger than the white and its been a real challenge to get consistent prints from the black material. The reason I don't offer it as an option is because so many people have complained about the balls not staying in the sockets. The only real fix is to buy a white and either dye it or paint it black (except the balls, which effects the ball fit). I know Shapeways has been working on a new black formulation, but to my knowledge, they haven't changed it. Sorry

@Kidmechano could you make this in black
June 14, 2013, 9:47 pm
@uncookedtrout It stands about 5.45 inches.

How tall is the figure when assembled?

@Kidmechano awesome thanks man! really great work so far :)

@erinautomatic @loosetony Thanks so much for the interest and purchase! All the ModiBots are still in beta mode, but mostly stable builds at this point, so if you have any questions/comments about printing, finishing and joint fit, let me know! #ModYourBot

@Kidmechano One of our coworkers just got this. Can't express how much I love this. I'm ordering one right now!

@mechking4511 As of this week, my reco is polished white or any of the colored polished plastics. I like the white and black, but they have a sandy feel to them which is kind of an acquired taste. The closest thing to a molded toy right out-of-the-box is polished white. Its paintable, but requires some technique which is covered a few places on the interwebs. I offer alumide, but its brittle for sockets. I don't offer things in any of the other plastics because they all break easily. The nylon plastics that I select have improved a lot in the 17 months that I've been making things on here. Might be worth a set of small purchases to see what you like.

@Kidmechano Btw, whenever I decide to get some parts and figures, what material would you recommend?
January 22, 2013, 2:19 am
@mechking4511 The great thing about the parts is that its in constant beta, so the parts literally are tweaked and improved all the time. At some point we'll have enough critical mass that you'll have to jump on board. Thanks for the props and be sure to keep dropping by to see the evolution. w.

@mboylevt Thanks. I have to say it gets a little bit more fun every day as the build system expands and the diversity of the parts increases. Thanks for kudos.

@Kidmechano, echoing @ChristianA -- incredible work!
January 20, 2013, 11:09 pm
@Kidmechano Yeah, the designs are amazing dude. I wish I would have found this site sooner, at some point I plan to buy these, maybe some time later. I also have plans on posting something on here, like a new lego body for mini figures, maybe body parts or a whole new design, but i'd make it so you can use normal mini figure heads on it. Still, great designs. :D

@mechking4511 Not sure how I didn't see your comment. Sorry, but thanks for taking the time. I've dug out my stash to do some building. There are surely some parts you recognize in our Flickr gallery- http://www.flickr.com/photos/gogodynamo/sets/72157632187728470/ Thanks for dropping by!

@ChristianA Thanks so much. I'm really glad you like it. Its been great working under the premise that there are no molds or 'practical' limitations. This is an avenue for truly sustainable design. Thanks for stopping by. Spread the word!

@Kidmechano these are absolutely amazing. Great work.
