@Low3n Thank you very much! We're glad you like the guides. It's good to know that they work with lots of different makes (sometimes with a little modification) of bikes.

I used the bolts already on the bike and thay fit flush.

Iv just put the ones I ordered on my bike (ghost ), looks very tidy apart from top one the end cables pop out but an easy fix just grind the back down so it pulls the clip in more. Great little clips guys great product

@petetheegg I see what you mean. I think your bolts will fit in fine. If you wish to remove some material to make them fit better I think they will be strong enough with a countersunk bolt. True they will have the frame for support, but the cables pulling on the guides might cause them to break if they are weakened. I suggest you experiment with them to see what works. Maybe order an extra one at the same time and modify it before you do the others to see if it works. If it all works out you'll have a spare!

@ODCtechnologies Also, having read your reply again, when talking about countersinking the bolt head I was thinking of using different bolts to the ones you have pictured - the guides that came with my frame use bolts with a head like a wood screw. If the guide's bolt seat were designed with these bolts in mind would they still become weak? If the "Strong and Flexible" material they are made from is like Nylon as the write-up says, and since they will have the frame for support, I imagine this wouldn't be a problem but then I don't know the material! @petetheegg The bolt seat is countersunk a little, about 2-3mm if I remember. The seat cannot be sank so that the bolt is flush as the bolt head is bigger than guide. They are made from Shapeways 'strong and flexible' plastic. You can find more details of this material in the Discover section (top left of the page). As it is plastic you can drill into it more if you wish to sink the bolt more, however this might compromise the strength of the guide and cause it to bend. @ODCtechnologies Cool! I do have some feedback, and questions. - Would the bolt seat not be better if it were countersunk? I personally feel it would be a neater solution. btw They're a great idea – I can't believe they're not a standard component! - What are they made from? i.e. could I countersink them myself easily? - Do you ship to the UK? And at what cost?
