kitchen drain trap

kitchen drain trap 3d printed For Your Home Maker/DIY
This drain trap is meant to replace the default plastic trap you may have that always gets displaced by the water, or that you don't have and large debris just goes down the drain. The largest outer diameter of the bottom of the trap is about 49.5 millimeters, and is very gently tapered so it is narrower at the bottom-most point by about 1 millimeters. The upper flange [what is visible at the surface when seated in the sink] has a diameter of about 71 millimeters. the smallest holes in the trap are about 3 millimeters wide. The image in the pictures is from a stainless steel example.

The one shown in the images was the stainless - so just under EUR100.00. You can get it in the strong white for less than EUR20 or in alumide a little more than EUR20. You can check the prices by changing the material on the listing.

@bparker I did get it done in stainless actually.. and yeah, it was pricey, but I was interested to see how the material worked out. It's in my sink right now and looks great, however my girlfriend thought I was crazy. :) all in the name of art!

What material is the one in your pictures made of? It looks like stainless but I doubt you paid $100+ for it :)

@dartheth0 great idea. A handle or easy way to lift the drain could be a great improvement.
