Over The Top is a world-record 17x17x17 Rubik's Cube. It makes quite pretty patterns. It can take many, many hours to solve. The puzzle was first presented live to the world at at the New York Puzzle Party Symposium, Saturday Feb. 12th. The YouTube video was be published after that event, and the record was accepted by Guinness World Records.

@rargity Here's the thing. It's still a 15x15 without the edge's and its not hard to just add in the colors once you pay the 1,600.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but this is not a true puzzle cube. The edge pieces are all one color which means that the only solving to be done is the centers, which is only half of the big cube solving method. If the finished product has colored edge pieces, disregard this. But I have more solving challenge in my 7x7 because of its colored edges and parity potential.

I watched your lecture on this puzzle mechanism on youtube. It was very intresting, i liked the floating anchor design and how you explained the flaws in the vcube patent. This puzzle is very interesting and i do hope to buy one some time soon.

This is fantastic, well done Oskar. If you need somebody to assemble it, i would be more than happy to. I live in the Netherlands so shipping would be cheaper. Or i could come and pick up the pieces, assemble it and then return it soon after. I would just love to have the chance to assemble it, just so i could have the experience of playing with a 17x17 even if its only for a short time.
