The Sea Eagle was developed in 1895 as coastal defense craft and interceptor. Following the recommendation of the Endicott board, the Sea Eagle had a range of over 1000km and a high speed. Its primary armament consists of three Gatling guns. It also carries six rockets and a tor-pedo for attacking larger craft. On some variants, the torpedo is replaced by larger rockets. The Sea Eagle is often used as an escort to the slower Mustang (See Section 6.1), which was showing its age by the mid 90s.
