Ring created using Functy. Constructed from 6 parametric curve threads each with a formula of the following form:

x = (8.5+((1+A*cos(B*4*a*(2*pi)))/2))*cos(a*(2*pi)),

y = (8.5+((1+A*cos(B*4*a*(2*pi)))/2))*sin(a*(2*pi)),

z = A*2.5*cos(B*2*a*(2*pi))+(1-A)*(1+A)*((2*B)-3)*2.5,

r = 0.5,

where A ? {0, 1, -1}, B ? {1, 2} and the parametric variable a ? [0, 1].

The diameter of the ring is 16mm on the inside (size 5½/K½). Send me a message if you'd like me to create a different sized version.
