The catzeye™ 3d printed desk toy makes a special and exceptional executive desk toy gift. The catzeye™ is a 3D kinetic desk toy sculpture or rolling toy, approximately 6in/150 mm in length.

You can launch the catzeye™ desk top toys onto a flat surface from the palm of your hand or slide along a flat surface and just let go. catzeye™ will continue to roll along smoothly. Unlike some of the other kinetic 3D prints available from this designer catzeye™ 3D desk toy has a straight and predictable path. The motion is counterintuitive given the shape and configuration of catzeye™ 3D kinetic toy

The catzeye™ desk top toy will roll independently if a table or desk surface is uneven or sloped and in such instances you may observe the catzeye™ kinetic desk toys moving back and forth across the surface.

Material and color:

The catzeye™ executive toy is manufactured using the 3D printing Selective Laser Sintering process to create motion in an office desk toy and is available in futuristic 3D printed materials including my favourites Alumide (see photo images) & Polished Alumide. The Polished Alumide is significantly smoother than the base Alumide material and feels more metallic against your skin having a finer polished surface texture and costs extra. Either material makes an ideal interface for a smooth rolling surface.
