This is a DUAL MODE Hobby Centrifuge, to be used with a regular power drill. Can be used as a scientific centrifuge with 1.5ml microcentrifuge tubes, OR as a Hobby centrifuge to separate colloids, such as MILK, into skim milk and cream, or water-based paint into water and polymer, etc.

Can also be used to REMOVE BUBBLES from Epoxy or casting resin, or separate oil from water.

The Hobby mode works by screwing this on a 2 to 6 oz plastic jar. We've tested it with a 6oz jar that SPRY xylitol chewing gum (100 count) comes in, which can be bought from health food stores or swansonvitamins.com

Or get a 3.8oz jar of McCormick's Grill Mates Steak rub, available in most supermarkets in the spices section.

Has a 3/8" shaft to fit into any 3/8" or larger drill chuck.

Hello @laptopdr, I'm delighted to see you making use of my design, Dremelfuge, but the terms of the open-source license I placed on the Dremelfuge require that you attribute me for the original work (a link here is fine: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1483 ) and provide a link to the design files for download under the *same license*. That is, Dualfuge must be licensed as CC-BY-SA because it makes use of Dremelfuge's design files, which are themselves CC-BY-SA. Sorry if this comes as a surprise, but that's the "price" I ask for releasing my designs into the commons; I don't care if you sell them and make money on them, or give them away at fairs, as long as the freedoms of the designs are preserved and passed on.
