Sadly no... the way that the faces are connected on an icosahedron connect make it impossible for the gears to turn.
Do the gears around the numbers actually turn, like they look like the should?
I finally got the "final" version of this put up for sale.
The test print is back in steel, and it looks and rolls great. If you're interested, follow the link below, or go to my designs and click on Steampunk D20.

Looking forward to it!
Thanks!
My hope is to get a whole polyhedral set done. It would be expensive to print, but still pretty cool. Stay tuned...
This one is definitely on my wishlist. Been working on a few dice designs of my own, but your artwork is far beyond mine.
Sorry about the delay on posting the pic... I don't get along with physical cameras, as you can probably tell :)
The other reason that I have been so loathe to post a pic is that I don't consider this model done... I made a steel print that was about 2/3 the diameter of this here, and I must say it's pretty awesome, but I'm still working on getting the numbers legible at that size. Please bear with me here... I really want to get something done while they're still offering gold plating, so it shouldn't be long.
Post a picture of the printed model!
So far I have only gotten a WSF print of this done, but after cleaning it looks great.
