I recommend the metal materials as the perceived quality and longevity of plastic jewelery is not what most would consider adequate. The low cost plastic options are there for those who want to save a bit of money at the expense of having to be more carefull and diligent with their pieces.
Again, I recommended the metal options because in the end, you get what you pay for.
Avoid Transparent Detail: COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!
I bought one of these for my girlfriends birthday and being a student I could only afford the Transparent Detail one. I thought it would be fine because I thought it would actually look even more like an actual omni tool. However as soon as my girlfriend put it on her finger it broke. It was an extremely flimsy ring and no where near as durable as something like a ring would need to be. I would not suggest anyone buy this product as it will not stand up to expectations and will very likely break. I tried to contact the seller to resolve this issue but they never got back to me.
