Reuse the glass jars of Bonne Maman and transform them with this vase top into to a piece of sustainable design. When available in the new flexible rubber like material it holds flowers playful in the vase. This vase topper will screw fit on several glass jars with a screw thread diameter of 80,5mm that is commonly used as a standard for glass jars. Find your glass jar that fits the best to this design. When interested in this design on itself without the need of a jar, have a look at my model Mesh Bell that is the same design but with a closed bottom.

Hi Aleksandar, Don't be sad. This is probably typical a case of serendipity. Sometimes even designers introduce something quite similar but often independently developed in different continents. As you describes your concept, your design seems unique enough to differentiate from mine. And my next models in the pipeline don't interfere with your concept. Thanks for commenting and let me know when you launch it. Good luck. Peter

I just found your product and feel really sad as it looks similar to what I was developing several months already.. I could not find anything similar when was doing my research a 5 months ago. I have already 3d printed the prototype, which required several minor changes in order to work properly and currently waiting for the final delivery from shapeways. Anyway mine does not work with jar but with water glass (a particular model), which requires a "click" instead of tread screwing...and styling is of course completely different - based on grasshopper for Rhino3d algorithmic definition.. I probably should launch it as I dedicated a lot of time and efforts on it (as you did I'm sure), but also because mine is addressed to clients who will use it in combination with different than your support product. But still overall impression would be the similarity (an extension on top of glass supporting flowers) - a bitter taste to any creator. I wish you good luck with your future creations too Aleksandar

Hey, could you make one with a solid base? So it wouldn't necessarily be a vase but it could be considered storage/art. Just food for thought.
