@danielcanessa09 This particular hand comes with plastic parts assembled. It doesn't include the cables or bowden tubes. It's a bit fiddly but possible. The real issue is a good control system to account for all the degrees of freedom. A hand with fewer degrees of freedom but with a more reliable mechanism are the other 3d printed hands I've made. I don't know precisely the shipping time for LA, but shapeways should tell you if you place it in your checkout.

Does it include the wires? If it doesnt come with the wires is easy to put it there?

do you have a tutorial for asembling all the plastic parts? I;m very interesting but is there any way that you send it to LA? But I need to get all very soon so how long does it take to arrive to LA?

@danielcanessa09 At the moment the plastic parts are all that I sell so you would need to assemble it and get the electronics and fastenings etc.

hello! i am a computer enginering student from Costa Rica. I'm very interest on your robotic hand that use arduino. In my school Im developing a project for blind people, the idea is to read braille code for processing instructions that are going to read it from a machine and then the hand is going to do the things that the blind write, for example: close the hand for 2 min then open it for 1 second etc So I wonder if you could sell me one?

@mc_goa Hi. The hand is already assembled apart from the wrist joint. I had to do this due to the discount pricing being based on volume. I'm developing a new hand, which will be on shapeways very soon, after a successful Kickstarter campaign.

Hello! Is the hand already assembled or do we have to do it?
