A fishbowl where the interior negative space is the shape of a human head. The space between the head and the outside surface is also hollowed, for cost considerations.

It's very beautiful!! Horribly expensive though... But I guess it was worth it. :)
Thanks for the comments! I'm currently working on a few more designs similar to it. I uploaded a render of what the bowl might look like with a red liquid in it. It doesn't just have to be liquids either, imagine soil, pebbles, or sand in there. If I have it printed, I'd probably put a small plant in it.

This represents what I find most promising about 3d printing, being able to make one-off customized designs that would be difficult to do on a mass scale. Imagine being able to have a 3d scan of your own head made into something like this. And not have it cost an arm and a leg. Some day we'll get there.
This design has inspired an incredible idea: to print an inverse sculpture in a clear 'box' and change its colour in order to change the colour of the sculpture. Way to think inside out the box!
