The centrepice is lit using a LED tealight, a light source that produces no heat. The Chrysanthemum is directly manufactured with the EOS P380 using the PA2200 polyamide material. When will it be available in you shop?
Will it fit around a standard light bulb?

Hi Peter
Thank you for your comments :) The Chrysanthemum was previously printed in White and Strong and Flexible, but the option is not currently available. I'll ask around why this is the case and hopefully the design will soon be available for purchase. Currently I use a small battery powered yellow LED tea light to light the chrysanthemum. If anyone is interested I could convert it to standard light fitting.

Unfortunately the shapeways build volume is smaller than the machine used to print the Chrysanthemum. I will try to alter the design to fit into the required volume.
