Along the same lines as the first bubbles intersecting idea.. but a bit more regular this time. Stackable modules can be combined to create mesh screen / wall feature. The mesh might make an intersting lamp shade, with an LED light inside, and maybe in the translucent material. Depending on how springy the flexible material is, this could also work as building block for furniture.. bubbles stool / bubbles mattress.
