About this Product

Glyph Mythos SF universe: Rommel Class through-deck destroyer - thrust tunnel variant (rocket-based propulsion). 1:5000 scale.

(Also represents the NewWorlds project Catalena Class)

Can be used as a collectable miniature, but is also fitted with a 2mm hole for standard table-top gaming stands.

Thrust tunnels are on spru within the through-deck for protection during production / transport - remove and insert into keyed sockets before use.

They will come, but while I had them on sale Shapeways stopped shipping them because some of the walls are right on the limit of a good print. I took them out of circulation until I could re-visit them and increase the wall thicknesses a touch. Work load has prevented an immediate return to them, but it will come. There are about 50 designs in the series - about 8 of which also match up to vessels from the NewWorlds project.

If considering the purchase of this one, look at the Rommel II instead - an updated version more in keeping with the Glyph Mythos starship style ( http://www.shapeways.com/model/52834/rommel_ii_destroyer.html ) -- Sphynx.
