So... Think we can get Luna with the S1 mane? I like the S2-3 mane just fine, but it doesn't look good in 3D models or 3D sculptures. I guess it could look good in 3D modeling if you had THQ (The guys behind Metro: 2033) or Crytek (Crysis series) do the particle work required to make it look good. I wouldn't hold my breath on anyone else pulling it off perfectly.

I just received my order of this pony. They packed it up really nice, perfect condition. Seeing it up close now, the detail is amazing! I do hope more ponies become available like this, there are an amazing treasure. My only 'gripe' is that the cutie marks are 'mirrored'. Octavia's is very apparent of this. Other than that @HashBrony you got yourself a very happy customer!

Ordered this a bit ago and was very surprised when it came in earlier than was quoted. The pony looks perfect! Pictures cannot do her justice. The colors are wonderful, the details are epic..Even the little marks from the sandstone make it look more like fur/pony hair. I will probably be getting the other one Oct..er.."Classy" one pretty soon.

When I had ordered this one, Shapeways contacted me during production because the back left leg had broken prior to shipping. They offered a re-print but I asked them to ship as-is. It was easy enough to fix with a touch of cyanoacrylate (crazy) glue; the sandstone material that these colored models are printed in is porous enough to absorb the glue right up and make a strong bond. I figured if they start having to re-print this model too many times they may put it on the "Reject as unprintable" list, and I wouldn't want to deny my fellow bronies a shot at getting this fantastic piece.

I'm very sorry to hear that but I'm afraid there is not much I can do about it. A lot of people got theirs in good condition but the material is very fragile, especially when it's fresh out of the printer. You could ask Shapeways for a reprint or, if you don't mind, reattach the tail with a little superglue. Of course I understand if you don't want to pay for a damaged product, in that case you can use your paid money for a different print.
